I wanted to try using a chess-style weighting method to sort many objects according to a crowd-sourced sorting engine. Have you seen the social network? Remember the part where he creates that 'who's hotter' site with all the girl's pictures, and he asks his friend for a formula? This site is based off of that same formula. As people decide between two options, a chess-based ranking algorithm determines a 'score' for each option. The result? I'm able to sort every option that's submitted on a scale of awfulness.
